Why Modern Hotel Booking Was Built

I’m Leslie — the developer behind this plugin and the owner of beachhouse.ro, a vacation rental on Romania’s Black Sea coast. Like thousands of small property owners, I was handing 15–25% of every booking to Airbnb and Booking.com in commissions. That amount adds up painfully fast when you’re running a small property with tight margins.

I needed a WordPress hotel booking plugin that was genuinely simple, didn’t require WooCommerce just to take a payment, and gave me full control over my reservations on my own website. I looked. As a vacation rental owner, one of the most draining daily challenges is guest communication. Guests expect instant answers about check-in times, parking, house rules, and amenities — at any hour. If they don’t get a response within a few minutes at 11pm, they close your tab and book somewhere else.
