Terms of Service and License Agreement for the Modern Hotel Booking WordPress plugin.

1. Software Licensing

Modern Hotel Booking WordPress plugin (both Free and Pro editions) is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later. You are free to modify, customize, and distribute the code in accordance with the terms of the GPL license.

2. Free vs. Pro Features

The Free Core version includes unlimited room categories, AJAX calendars, basic booking management, and email notifications. The Pro version adds premium features, including Stripe/PayPal native payment checkouts (without WooCommerce), automatic 2-way iCal OTA sync, kids modes, and advanced pricing rules.

Pro licenses are sold as yearly subscriptions. Support and updates are provided for active licenses. Subscriptions renew annually at $49/year (unless cancelled) to keep receiving software upgrades and professional support services.

3. AI Concierge API Keys & Terms

The AI Concierge receptionist module is included in both Free and Pro versions. To activate AI capabilities, you must configure your own API keys from supported providers (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI). You are solely responsible for all API charges incurred under your accounts, as well as adherence to the terms and privacy conditions of those providers.

4. Support Policies & Liability Limits

Support is provided through our documentation and our helpdesk for customers with active Pro licenses. While we strive to resolve all issues promptly, we provide the software “as-is” without warranty of any kind. Under no circumstances shall Modern Hotel Booking be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages (including loss of business revenue or double-booking disputes) arising out of the use or inability to use this software.

5. Refund Policy

We stand behind the quality of our plugin and offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Pro edition license purchases. If you encounter any technical issues that we cannot resolve, or are unsatisfied with the plugin, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date.
